Anticipated Opportunity: ProShift Healthcare is building a talent pipeline for expected staffing needs in San Diego County. ProShift Healthcare is recruiting Referral and Authorization Coordinators for anticipated medical-group, specialty-clinic, behavioral-health, and outpatient staffing needs. This talent campaign is intended for professionals experienced in insurance verification, referral intake, prior authorization, appointment coordination, and status follow-up.

Requirements

• At least one year of referral, authorization, intake, or insurance-verification experience preferred
• Familiarity with HMO, PPO, IPA, and medical-group processes
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes preferred
• Experience with referral-management or EHR systems
• Strong organization, follow-up, and communication skills
